Produced by C Kalyan, who is teaming up with the director after 12 years, the film will be releasing in June. "I am happy to be producing this film under Gautham's direction. Chandamama made me a good producer. This film is very important for me. Both Nani and Samantha are very good performers. Illayaraja Garu is taken special care of. All the songs will be recorded in London," Kalyan informed.

Gautham said, "I see a lot of maturity in Samantha since ‘Ye Maya Chesave’. Nani is a good artist and it feels great to be producing a movie under Kalyan”.
Nani said that ‘YVM’ will be remembered as one of the best films of the decade. "Gautham is one of those directors who inspired me to become an assistant director. Our film will connect to audience of all sections at one place or another. The songs are amazing, I grew up listening to Illayaraja's music and Iam looking forward to the release of the audio with eagerness".
